EOMeasy help
Everything you need to run EOMeasy, whether you export surfaces from Vulcan or PointStudio, or bring point clouds from a drone, GPS or scanner. Short pages, real button names. No manual to wade through.
Getting started
Download, install, first run, and activating your licence.
Set a site up once, run it each month
Configure your volumes the first month, then clone the period forward and repoint the surfaces. Setup happens once, not every month-end.
Your account, licence and billing
Your licence key, how many computers you can run it on, and updating your card or cancelling.
Exporting surfaces from Vulcan
The one-action export macro and how to name your surfaces and boundaries.
Exporting surfaces from PointStudio
The same flow, plus the one-time Maptek Python SDK setup PointStudio needs.
Point clouds: no CAD package
Use LAS/LAZ/PLY/XYZ/CSV from a drone, GPS or scanner. EOMeasy grids them for you.
Trim a drone point cloud to the area of interest
You don't need CAD to make a surface. Trim the cloud in DJI Terra, Pix4D or Metashape, export a LAS, and EOMeasy does the rest.
Coordinate grid and height
Both surveys must share one grid and one height datum. EOMeasy doesn't reproject. The check that catches most drone data.
Boundaries: draw one or skip it
Supply a boundary from CAD, or let EOMeasy derive it from where two point clouds overlap. When to do which.
Reading your results and the report
Cut, fill and net, the net sign convention, running totals, the report and the CSV.
The month-end workbook
A free Excel or Google Sheets dashboard that builds the whole month from your CSV export.
Troubleshooting
Unmatched objects, missing surfaces, reconciliation warnings, activation.
