Built by someone who does the job

EOMeasy is a product of EGB Digital Pty Ltd (ABN 33 640 377 457). It was built by a practising mine surveyor to do one part of month-end properly: the reconciliation and reporting a mine-design suite makes you do by hand.

Why it exists

Your survey package computes cut and fill in seconds. The rest of month-end is the grind: opening each stage one at a time, keying numbers into a spreadsheet, rebuilding the report a manager will sign, and proving the totals still tie out before it goes upstairs. On an open-cut site that is a day or two, every month.

EOMeasy was built by a surveyor who ran that grind by hand for years, on real sites, because no tool did just that part. It is the layer that was missing, built by someone who felt the gap rather than guessed at it.

Why the numbers hold up

A month-end volume is only worth anything if it survives someone disputing it. EOMeasy computes volumes the way the established packages do: it drapes your start and end surfaces onto a fine regular grid, takes the height difference at every cell, clips each boundary cell to its exact intersection, and integrates cut and fill by area. For point clouds it triangulates them to a surface first, then applies the same exact weighting.

Across a five-volume reconciliation on public and owned surfaces, spanning CAD surfaces and drone point clouds, the results matched Maptek Vulcan and PointStudio to within 0.005% on every production volume. Any degraded input, an open boundary, thin coverage, a wall or overhang, raises a warning rather than a confident wrong number. The full case study is on the site.

What it is, and what it is not

It is not a mine-design suite and it does not replace one. It is not a second volume engine competing with your package. It is the reconciliation and reporting layer that turns the surfaces you already have into a signed-off month-end, on the Windows machine you already use.

Everything runs locally. The only network calls it makes are a licence check and an update check at startup, and neither carries any survey data. Your surfaces, point clouds and reports never leave your computer, by design.

The company

EOMeasy is developed and supported by EGB Digital Pty Ltd, a registered Australian company. The application and its installer are code-signed under Microsoft Organization Public Trust, both plans carry a 14-day money-back guarantee, and support is by email, not a ticket queue.
